Join us Fourth of July weekend for an all years Beatty School Reunion.
Reunion--Friday, July 3rd
The fun begins Friday, July 3rd, at the Beatty Community Center. Reconnect with classmates from the past and relive old memories from your Beatty school days.
This event is open to anyone who has attended Beatty Schools, is at least 18 years old or has graduated by June 2009. We would like to extend this reunion invitation to all past and present teachers, principals, secretaries, custodians and food service workers. You were part of our lives and we would love to see you as well. We hope you can attend.
7pm: Cocktail Hour with hors d'oeuvres and Slide Show
Send a copy of your favorite school pictures to display in your class collage.
Please include information about the picture such as the class, event, names, etc.
Photographs will not be returned.
8:30pm until Midnight: Music, Games and Surprises
Dance to your favorite songs from the past.
There will be a CASH BAR.
After June 15th, a $10 fee will be added to all ticket sales.
Tickets will also be available at the door.
Childcare will not be provided.
A list of available sitters will be posted on this web site no later than May 15.
All arrangements, including location, will be the responsibility of the parent.
Family Day--Saturday, July 4th
Come Join us for a Old Fashioned, "Beatty Style", Fourth of July sponsored by the Beatty Volunteer Fire Department.
Noon: Downtown Parade
Following the Parade: Traditional 4th of July Games in Cottonwood Park
Games will include--egg toss, foot race, three-legged race, egg race, wheelbarrow race, sack race and the watermelon eating contest.
Dark: Fireworks
The 4th of July festivities are free and open to everyone.
The Fire Department will be selling drinks and refreshments throughout the day.
Lawn chairs and sun shades are recommended.
